The Old Bon Appetit cures

 

• Ichigo Sakuramura (桜村いちご) / Cure Gourmet (キュアグルメ) - The main protagonist of the series, an energetic 14-year-old second year middle-school student who's the cooking child prodigy. Like her parent, she wishes to become the professional chef when she grow up. A happy-go-lucky girl always loves to cook a healthy foods, and due to her cooking inspiration, she became known as the Kitchen's Prodigy. Though she failed sometime, she still worked so hard to win the cooking competition award one day. Her cooking style is Japanese and her recipes are inspired by basic Japanese savory dishes like Katsu and Omurice. As Cure Gourmet, she is the Pretty Cure of Happiness and Delight and modeled after Japanese cutlet and omurice. Her theme color is pink and controls light elemental.
• Fuuka Mizunomiya (水野宮ふうか) / Cure DeMer (キュアデマー) - The smartest 14-year-old second year middle-school student and the student council vice president who loves sea and fishes. She loves fashion and takes care of others when necessary. Her seafood dishes are distinguished by the bright colors and table setting when she have a special occasion. Her father works at a fish fair for a company and her mother owns the hot spring inn, Mizuyamashiki, while she's interesting in flowers arranging and tea ceremony. Her cooking style is Seafood and her recipes are inspired by basic seafood dishes like Fruits de mer and Paella. As Cure DeMer, she is the Pretty Cure of Wise and Knowledge and modeled after jellyfish and crab cake. Her theme color is blue and controls water elemental.
• Chihaya Kakihara (柿原ちはや) / Cure Mandarin (キュアマンダリン) - The kind-hearted 13-year-old first year middle-school student, who's her family owned the farms market near the Ichigobana Café. She never talked about her mysterious ill due to her allergic reaction to meat that made everyone bullied at her. But thanks to the farm supervisors, she managed to overcome her trauma by opening her family's farm, Zesty Farmhouse, so she could eating fruits and vegetables due to being vegetarian. She likes healthy foods made of vegetable and fruit like salads, soups and sugar-free fruit cakes, but her favorite fruit are oranges and lemons. Her cooking style is Boiling and Sautéing, and her recipes are inspired by the basic fruits and vegetables dishes like salads and juices. As Cure Mandarin, she is the Pretty Cure of Calm and Honest and modeled after oranges. Her theme color is yellow and orange, and controls earth elemental.
• Yozora Fujiboshi (藤星よぞら) / Cure Anise (キュアアニス) - The tomboyish 15-year-old third year middle-school student and member of sports activity club. Her family own Ichigobana Cafe, her favorite place when the cures used to hang out. She is an older sister-type sportsmanship and has strong sense of justice whatever everyone are bullied, especially Chihaya, she will beat them up. Her father is the Japanese café owner while her mother is the Hawaiian-Chinese surfing stand owner, so she watching over her four siblings doing their work each other. Her cooking style is Barista and Mixing, and her recipes are inspired by Italian-American style coffee drinks like latte and espresso. As Cure Anise, she is the Pretty Cure of Strong and Courage and modeled after coffee and spices. Her theme color is purple and controls wind elemental.
• Ringo Akadera (赤寺りんご) / Cure Bavarian (キュアババリアン) - The cute 11-year-old fifth grade elementary school student, who's her family run the pastry shop near her house called Pomme de Reve Shop. A cheerful and brave child who defends everyone and dosen't afraid of being bullying. She also the part-time martial arts student under her grandfather until she beats up some kind of bullies. Her father is a German confectioner and her mother is a Japanese wagashi shop owner. She became inspired by Yozora's sportsmanship and want to get more activities when she grows up. Her cooking style is German/French/Japanese Baking and Pastry, and her recipes are inspired by Asian-European fusion desserts like macaron, cakes and wagashi. She is a youngest of the team at age of 11. As Cure Bavarian, she is the Pretty Cure of Gentle and Dream and modeled after apple pie, bavarios and wagashi. Her theme color is red and controls fire elemental.
